Production Diary 2022-2023
11th December 2022
I worked on creative pre-production developing and finalizing plans for the poster and advertisement making sure that it aligned with what would engage the target audience and the clients values/morals.
17th December 2022
I worked on the post-production elements of my poster and as I had never used photoshop before this became a perfect opportunity to develop my skills practicing how to edit photos effectively and collate them to reflect the plan I had created.
4th January-10th January 2023
Due to production being delayed it meant that the original plan for filming could not be carried out and therefore I had to spend this time tweaking and editing my original plan for the advertisement to allow me to be able to produce the advertisement within the time required from the client.#
This was the day that filming took place for the advertisement following this schedule:

Throughout the shoot the camera was handheld enabling free movement for both the cast and crew. The advert was filmed with a filter of Toy Pop this allows for the colours to pop out on the camera maintaining the upbeat nature of the advertisement. I decided to shoot the advertisement in portrait which I found would engage the target audience more effectively as the target audience I have found are more likely to engage with social media therefore filming in portrait makes it compatible for social media platforms such as Instagram Facebook and Tik Tok.
The location was my own home and therefore I had access to everything I needed to be able to set up the shots
