Production
Throughout the shoot I used my Panasonic Lumix camera which is made for travel photography to take the images. The photographs were taken with a filter of Toy Pop this allows for the colours to pop out on the camera maintaining the upbeat nature of the advertisement.
A variation of media products were used to capture these photographs this can show the younger audience the advertisement and magazine front cover is aimed at showing that with some guidance they can take high quality photos with what they have already and this may mean there is no significant profit made from the advertisement right now however this advertisement may secure brand loyalty for the future when they have more money to buy a high quality product such as a canon camera. So this means that if you help them develop their skills now on what they already have they will likely become loyal to the brand wanting to discover more tips and tricks eventually buying a camera of their own creating long lasting revenue for the client.
When capturing these photographs no other equipment such as a tripod was used therefore making it cost effective as consumers do not need to purchase extra equipment to achieve these shots meaning that it may be more likely for the target audience to afford a canon camera as they don't have to purchase other equipment. These handheld shots also allowed for movement and different angles and shot types such as long shots medium close ups low angle shots and many more.
Varied locations allowed for all types of journeys and travel to be displayed giving variation for the audience in order to draw their eye and keep them engaged whether it was published physically or online.
